The Back Shelf

The Back Shelf is where our surplus stock goes to find a new home: new, unused parts that have sat too long, with prices cut to move them. We add to it every Friday. The struck-through price is the list price; the sale price is what you pay. Quantities are whatever is on the shelf, so when one sells, it's gone.

Every part shows the machines it fits by model and serial range. Not sure about yours? Send the model and serial number through Request a quote and we'll confirm before you buy. Parts ship from Big Lake, MN, or pick up at any RTL counter; a few heavy items are pickup only.

Questions about The Back Shelf

Are Back Shelf parts new or used?
New and unused. They are surplus from our own dealership stock: parts ordered for jobs or stocked for machines we no longer see often. They come in original packaging where we have it and carry the same warranty as any other new part we sell.
How are the prices set?
The struck-through figure is the manufacturer's list price. The sale price is our price to clear the part, usually 20 to 70 percent below list. Prices are not negotiable online, but you can ask for a freight quote or a bundle price through Request a quote.
How often are parts added?
Every Friday. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page and the log above show exactly when the latest parts landed. Parts marked "New this week" were added in the last seven days.
Can I return a Back Shelf part?
Yes, under our standard policy: 30 days from delivery with a return authorization, 10 percent restocking fee, buyer pays return shipping. Electrical parts are non-returnable, so confirm fitment by serial number before ordering.
Can I pick up instead of shipping?
Yes. Choose pickup at checkout and collect at an RTL Equipment parts counter in Big Lake, MN, Cedar Rapids, IA or Des Moines, IA. A few heavy parts are pickup only and say so on their page.
